“Everyone has something to offer and everyone can make a difference!” – Jaime

Jaime Sweany with her “granddoggie.”
Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Jaime Sweany! Starting in April, she’ll be serving as our Volunteer and Membership Director, a brand new position designed in part to engage people like you with Sycamore’s work in more ways and with big results.
Jaime says, “As a very young girl, I decided that I would move to the ‘mountains’ of southern Indiana when I grew up (being from the flatlands of northern IN). I headed south as soon as I turned 18.” She went to IU, co-owned Wild Birds Unlimited, ran Wandering Turtle Art Gallery, and was the executive director of the Brown County Art Guild, among other things. Amusingly, she has a “life-long and insatiable love for rocks”!
Read the rest of her bio here to learn about her varied interests and deep commitment to land preservation. Jaime looks forward to meeting you this spring!
