Conservation Field Day
- Tuesday, April 16, 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
Curious about how conservation gets put into practice? Join the Brown County Soil and Water Conservation District, Dan McGuckin of Habitat Solutions, and Sycamore staff for an up-close look at the conservation practices Sycamore uses to improve soil and water quality and wildlife habitat. We’ll meet a the bottomland trail for discussion, then hike up the upland train to the bluffs overlooking Beanblossom Creek.
This field day will include an overview and tour of an invasive species management project at Trevlac Bluffs Nature Preserve, a hike of the beautiful property, a picnic lunch at Yellowwood shelterhouse, and tree planting overview and tour in the afternoon.
Please note, moderate hiking and muddy conditions will be expected.
Please RSVP at the link below. Participants should pack a lunch, snacks, and water.
