Lauren McDonald, Communications and Development Fellow

Lauren joined our team in October through the O’Neill Service Corps with Indiana University.

“I grew up on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, where my love for nature developed from watching dolphins and fishing by the beach. The Deepwater Horizon spill deeply inspired my commitment to environmental protection. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and contributed to conservation efforts through diverse wildlife research opportunities. Currently, I’m pursuing an MSES in ecology and conservation at IU O’Neill. In my free time, I enjoy kayaking, hand embroidering, and natural trail biking.”
