Great Backyard Bird Count with State Ornithologist Allisyn Gillet

Join us for a special day of birdwatching at our stunning Beanblossom Bottoms Nature Preserve. As part of the annual Great Backyard Bird Count, Sycamore Land Trust is hosting an exciting event where you’ll have the chance to observe and count local bird species in one of Indiana’s most biodiverse wetland habitats. This event will be led by State Ornithologist Allisyn Gillett, who will share her expertise on identifying bird species, understanding their behavior, and the importance of citizen science. Whether you’re a seasoned birdwatcher or a beginner, this event is for you! All skill levels are welcome.
