Little Hikers: Crafting Adventures with Saige Sentell

Bring your little nature explorers for a fun-filled adventure at Cedar Crest! Together, we will get outdoors, gather natural materials, and use them to create unique works of art. We’ll begin with a short walk along the trail, where kids will have the opportunity to collect leaves, sticks, twigs, pinecones, rocks, and other natural treasures. Along the way, we’ll learn about the plants, trees, and critters that make this beautiful space their home. Once we’ve gathered our natural materials, we’ll head to a nearby spot to let creativity take over! Using the leaves, sticks, and other treasures we’ve found, kids will craft their very own nature-inspired artwork—whether it’s a leaf collage, a twig sculpture, or a wild woodland creature!
