Spring Birding with David Rupp

Join us for a spring birding hike at the beautiful Amy Weingartner Branigin Peninsula, hosted by IndiGo Birding’s David Rupp! As migratory birds make their way through Indiana, we’ll look and listen for some of our favorites, like the Cerulean Warbler. Whether you’re an experienced birder or a beginner, this event is a great opportunity to learn about the species passing through. Binoculars will be available. This preserve is closed on weekends and holidays, but this is a special opportunity to visit on a weekend. If this hike is full, join the wait list here.

David Rupp worked as an environmental educator, field biologist, Audubon chapter president, and bird population researcher before starting IndiGo Birding Nature Tours in 2013. His goal is to connect people with nature by sharing the wonder of the world of birds. He strives to meet people wherever they are in their birding journey, providing a memorable experience that both heightens their knowledge and skills and leaves them wanting to come back for more!
