Bluebird Box Building Workshop with Loren Wood Builders

Join Sycamore Land Trust and Loren Wood Builders to learn more about the nesting needs of our local birds and how to create bird boxes that mimic their natural habitat. Sycamore’s Education Director Saige Sentell will provide a lesson on a variety of species and their nesting habits, then Loren Wood Builders will guide participants through a bluebird box building workshop. We will follow the Audubon Guide for Bluebird Boxes. Participants will take their boxes home thanks to the generosity of Loren Wood Builders. A special thanks to Jacob Hyer, Aaron Prange, Garrett Kane, and Lane Sipahimalani who will be offering their construction expertise to help with this program.
