Monthly Birding: Wetlands and Waterfowl

Spend a morning at our Carl Ziegler Wetlands with expert birder Gary Langell for a waterfowl birding event! We’ll use binoculars and spotting scopes to observe ducks, geese, and other wetland species as they move through this vibrant habitat. In March of 2025, local eBird reports at the “Dolan Wetlands” included a diverse array of waterfowl, including Northern Shovelers, Gadwall, Green‑winged Teal, American Wigeon, Hooded Mergansers, and more! Come with your questions and curiosity; Gary is amazing at pointing out key traits for species identification! Carl Ziegler Wetlands is not open to the public.
