October Big Day Hike with David Rupp of Indigo Birding and Wyatt Downey

Calling all bird enthusiasts! Map fall migration with us on October Big Day by participating in one of 18 statewide birding hikes hosted by Indiana Audubon and Indiana Land Protection Alliance (ILPA). Join Sycamore Land Trust at our Sam Shine Foundation Preserve for a hike with David Rupp of IndiGo Birding Nature Tours and our Land Stewardship Assistant Wyatt Downey. Spend the morning birding as we explore rich habitats, record our sightings in eBird, and help create a one-day snapshot of fall migration that supports conservation. Everyone is welcome. Whether you are new to birding or already experienced, come enjoy the restored habitat and contribute to global bird conservation. We’d love to see you there! Registration is $5 per person. Sam Shine Foundation Preserve is not open to the public.
