Donors can also sponsor a preserve for a summer or a year, or adopt an acre or tree. PLANNED GIVING: LEGACY CIRCLE
You can help protect our land and way of life, forever. When you designate Sycamore Land Trust as a beneficiary in your will or estate plan, you will join our Legacy Circle and create a living legacy that will help protect the beautiful and unique landscapes of southern Indiana for the enjoyment of future generations.
You can give a gift to preserve precious natural areas in southern Indiana in memory of a beloved friend or family member who has passed. The donor will receive a one-year Sycamore membership and a gift acknowledgement letter. The deceased person's family member or other designated contact person will receive a list of the names of the people who have made gifts in the honoree's memory. The names of donors and honorees are listed in the special section of the online donor list of Sycamore's Annual Impact Report.
Stocks, Securities and Matching Gifts
You can support Sycamore’s mission by donating stocks, securities, or other property, making a tax-free contribution directly from your donor-advised fund or IRA (including minimum-distribution requirements or qualified charitable distributions if you are age 70 1/2 or above), and seeing if your employer provides matching gifts to double the impact of your donation!

An endowment is a fund that is invested to provide long-term support for a nonprofit organization. When you donate to one of Sycamore’s endowments, you help ensure that the work we do will be supported forever. Our endowments are professionally managed and provide Sycamore with a stable source of funds from a portion of the annual income earned on the investments, while the remaining assets are retained in the fund to provide investment growth over time. Sycamore has have four different endowments to support the various areas of our work: Land Acquisition, Land Stewardship, Environmental Education, and General Operations.

For a gift of $40 or more, the honoree receives a one-year Sycamore membership and a list of the names of the donor(s).
