The Laura Hare Nature Preserve at the Confluence
This preserve is located on the southeast side of the confluence of Beanblossom Creek and the White River, at the northwest end of Sycamore’s Beanblossom Creek Bicentennial Conservation Area. It has 0.3 miles of frontage along Beanblossom Creek, and 0.35 miles along the White River. Along with protecting valuable floodplain and forest habitat, the property’s location at the entrance of Beanblossom Creek into the White River is an important feature and serves as an anchor to the entire project area.
